Just a piece of advice: when feeling the onset of colds and cough, the best thing to do is drink liquids, but DO NOT exceed/overdose on your Vitamin C. Why? Too much vit. C can harm the liver, but also, overdosing on vitamins triggers a reaction in the body: the blood flushes out the vitamins through sweat and urine, thus expelling most of that vitamin. In other words, you would end up losing more vitamins than what you take in.

The best thing to do is to make sure that the environment is clean (free of smoke, dust, fur, etc) and that you do NOT take irritating foods such as vinegar, pineapple juice, too much salt, chili, etc.

Thanks!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5709675699004996361.post-61198402157802056852008-11-05T23:24:00.000-08:002008-11-05T23:24:00.000-08:00Thanks Noobcook! That was also one of the "spurces" of the idea of making my own mint tea. :)

Thanks JS! :)

Thanks Anudivya! Actually, the weather and soil here in Manila is not good for vegetable plants, too. Unless I have a greenhouse. :) That is why I can only grow a limited number of herbs and plants that are hardy enough to withstand drought and the tropical weather. :)Soli Deo Gloriahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09687724586531459493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5709675699004996361.post-18485709784216575742008-10-23T13:47:00.000-07:002008-10-23T13:47:00.000-07:00I would love to have my own garden, but here it is...I would love to have my own garden, but here it is kind of not feasible.
The tea looks very soothing.
